Beautiful BrideI love this shot!  Aubrey looks gorgeous!We went to Lake Las Vegas and at times the wind was crazy!  Aubrey was a good sport and very patient with everything I wanted her to do.The veil blew over her face & she smiled so pretty, I am glad I caught it!I love this picture of Aubrey.  She looks so elegant.The wind was great!  I had so much fun photographing Aubrey.

Aubrey & Griffin are engaged!

Aubrey & Griffin were so much fun to photograph!  They were such good sports about going downtown.  I laughed so hard watching them check everything out.  They are such a cute couple.  I could really feel how much Griffin loves Aubrey by the way he treated her:)  Good choice, Aubrey!!!  I've known Aubrey since she was 12!  Now she's getting married.  I am getting old:(  I am posting some of their favorites. 

Dianne and Scott get married in Vegas!

What a fun wedding!  It was a pleasure to meet Dianne and Scott.  They came all the way from Australia to get married in Las Vegas.  We met at Planet Hollywood, where they were staying to take some getting ready shots & then photographed their ceremony and reception at The Palms.  There were 26 Aussies on hand to help them celebrate & they were quite good at it!  Here are some of my favorite shots of the night.

Nelson, NV Spring Portraits

Spring Portrait Day was a fieldtrip/portrait session.  Debbie & I stationed ourselves out at El Dorado Canyon (Nelson, NV) and prepared oursleves for the onslaught.  We started with Kindergarten & went all the way through the High School students.  The students had so much fun and I think the teachers did as well (once it was over).  Between Debbie & myself we shot over 1200 images.  Crazy!  I am going to be editing for hours.  Thanks to Lightroom it's much easier though:)  I LOVE LIGHTROOM!  I am posting some cute ones of my boys.  All the rest will be up on my site by the end of Spring break.

WPPI

This past week I had the opportunity to attend WPPI (Wedding, Portrait Photographers International).  It's the largest Photography organization in the world and they come to Vegas once a year for an amazing conference.  I haven't attended for the last 3 years and am so glad that I got to go this year.  I sat in some great classes.  My favorites were Kevin Kubota, Jim Garner, Jerry Ghionis & a special Adobe Lightroom session.  I also got to meet up with my old shooting partner Sunny Smith and my new partner Kristin Wilson.  We had so much fun catching up & talking about photography.  WPPI is a great time to check out what everyone's doing, all the latest styles & ideas that are coming out of some amazing photographers.  I tried to focus mainly on weddings, so saw some great album designs.  I am feeling inspired and ready to try some new things & just have fun!

Journalism fieldtrip

I get to teach Journalism at American Heritage Academy & I love my kids!!!  We create the newsletter for our school and the yearbook as well.  So, I get to do what I love and talk about Photography a lot!  We had so much fun the other day when we went out to Nelson, NV.  We were on search of some creative images to display at AHA's Annual Fine Arts week.  I am sooooo empressed with their images.  There's some real talent in this class.  I took a group shot and some individuals of each of them as well.  We had so much fun we're going back out with the entire school for a Spring Portrait Day.
