New Puppy! KIRA

We have a new puppy!!!  We named her Kira (after the lioness in Lion King).  We picked her up Friday at her breeder in Yakima, WA.  She is so cute.  Cocoa was hit by a car a week before Christmas & we were sad to not have her with us.   She was such a good dog and we loved her alot.  We decided not to wait & started our search right away for a good breeder.  She came from Rattlinridgelabs.com.  Her Father and Mother are champion bird dogs & Kira has some good natural instinct already.  The boys are so excited to train her and she's done really well over the past few days.  We keep calling her Cocoa because she looks exactly like her.  Kira makes us smile & we have plans to fence her in to keep her safe.  There are lots of animals in our neighborhood (lots of farms) so we have to keep a close watch on her. 

On the drive to Yakima - it was a very foggy morning and we drove around a bend & there were all these wind machines.  Looked sort of futuristic to me.

He was getting tired of the serious poses!

Joseph is 5 now & I still can't believe it!  We have had so much snow & it has melted & the ground has cleared up, so I finally got him out for a quick shoot.  He was very cooperative this time!  He's growing into such a handsome little man & can't wait to get one of these images printed to add to our photo wall.
